SAFETY GUARANTEE

The Stopflex system guarantees safer plants, protecting both the operators and components. As a matter of fact, pressure systems can be very dangerous, should the hose crimping rapture for any reason whatsoever. In this case Stopflex simultaneously releases the liquid under pressure and allows disconnection of the hose, stopping the flow by securing it to the plant by means a cable. Actually, without the retaining system, the force of a disconnected hose, could damage the system or injure persons seriously.

TESTED PROTECTION

In case of disconnection from the fittings, application of Stopflex components on flexible hoses ensures retention of the pipe, thus avoiding the dangerous whip effect. Under correct assembly, this system was manufactured and tested to ensure the retention of the hoses up to the maximum pressures provided for by the directives regulating the manufacture of hydraulic flexible hoses:

Therefore, as a matter of fact, proper operation of the Stopflex system cannot be guaranteed, in case of pressures exceed the limits set by the directives mentioned above.

USE FLEXIBILITY

Stopflex components can be used to all kinds of flexible hoses. A band, equipped with a rubber gasket, remains perfectly secured, simultaneously and at the same time allows the hose to swell according to the working pressure. The retaining components can be secured to fittings or nipples, according to the DIN2353 and SAE J518 standards, or other system components.
